Contract Length and Bookings
Studio Freelancers, on average, secured contracts for 11 days (2 weeks), reflecting no year-on-year change. The top 10% also experienced a decrease of -15%, with the average being 84 working days (just under 17 weeks).
Across experience levels in Studio, both Lead and Midweight roles saw declines, with Midweight experiencing the sharpest drop at -42% year-on-year. In contrast, Director roles achieved remarkable growth, increasing by +300% year-on-year.
Bookings in the Studio discipline increased by +26% year-on-year. Demand for bookings throughout the year showed a gradual rise from January, peaking in October, with notable dips during the summer months and towards the end of the year in December.

Roles
Retouchers commanded the highest average rate, earning £383 per day (£48 per hour).


Skills
Creative production skills remain valuable, with Creative artworking, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite ranking as the highest-paid. As brands prioritise high-quality visuals, these skills continue to be in demand.
