Spend requests can now be linked to Projects

Get full visibility on predicted vs actual spend for projects across regions and teams.
Clients can now link Spend Requests directly to specific Projects, giving finance, procurement and project teams greater visibility over budget planning and performance. When this setting is enabled, the first question on the Spend Request form will prompt you to select the relevant project.

Why this matters
Linking Spend Requests to Projects allows you to:
- See predicted spend across an entire project, not just a single contract
- Compare predicted spend to actual spend once the project is complete
- Streamline reporting by using Projects as first-class entities in the YunoJuno system rather than relying on custom fields
- Gain a clear, aggregated view of budgets for projects spanning multiple contracts and teams
With this update, linking Spend Requests to Projects is now a built-in capability of the platform. This means cleaner data, easier reporting and a more streamlined way to track predicted and actual spend without the need for workarounds.
How it works
- Select a project as the first step when creating a Spend Request
- Track predicted spend across all linked contracts for that project
- Run reports to compare predicted spend against actuals for complete budget visibility

Benefits for global teams
Whether you are managing a single regional campaign or multiple global initiatives, this update helps you plan more accurately, control budgets proactively and report with confidence.
