Product Designer

As a Product Designer at YunoJuno, you'll be joining an existing team of engineers and assisting them in our mission of shaping the future of work.

This is a rare opportunity for a designer to work on a product that is embedded into the Design / UX community - you will be working on something that you may well have used in the past.

You'll be involved in every stage of the product development process from conception to implementation.

Design values

The YJ platform is both a B2B platform and a marketplace. Whilst the visual design of the product is important to our core audience, there's more to YJ than just a pretty face. Our design values are:

As a Product Designer, you will:

• Convey broad and conceptual ideas into tangible flows
• Work closely with product management, engineering
• Highlight design constraints and opportunities
• Continuously improve YJ’s processes and principles
  

Your portfolio should outline the most challenging design problems you have faced. It should describe the process you applied to find solutions and overcome those challenges, rather than focusing just on visual solutions.

We use Figma for designing and prototyping, and Storybook as our frontend component library.

We have a UI Kit in place and a Design System in progress, and you will be responsible for maintaining these.

We are looking for someone with:

• Experience designing digital products at scale (esp. B2B / marketplaces)
• Good knowledge of Information Architecture
• Good knowledge of User Experience principles
• Experience in industry standard wire-framing and design tools
• Experience with rapid prototyping (hi/lo fidelity)
